| Siemens unveils the latest
jewel in its stunning new mobile phone range - the tiny
new SL55 handset that literally fits into the palm of
your hand.
Proving that the best things really do come in small
packages – this stylish, mouse-shaped, colour
phone is great for the ‘image-conscious’
and like it’s predecessor, the S55, will work
with the Siemens plug-in QuickPic camera (not supplied)
For such a tiny phone, the SL55 has vibrant colour
display, jewel-like keys and is jam packed with all
the latest features including MMS, polyphonic ring tones,
integrated handsfree talking facility and voice control.
In addition the SL55’s extra large phonebook means
that you will never be short of space for a vital contact,
and with triband, can keep in touch from virtually anywhere
in the world.
The stylish SL55 sports a sleek slide-down keypad,
although the soft keys on the phone’s interface
mean that many features can be accessed even when the
phone is closed.
The SL55’s detachable camera adds a further dimension
to the phone, allowing photos to be instantly sent to
friend’s mobiles or e-mail addresses. This nifty
little camera comes with built-in flash, which makes
the SL55 one of the only picture messaging handsets
that you will see used on the dance floor.
The calling images and 16-chord ringtones, which can
be programmed to identify the caller, ensure you know
in an instant who is trying to reach you.
For the ‘mobile gamer’ the phone boasts
2 games: summer season golf and tennis games. These
addictive games let you perfect your golf swing or pick
and coach your Wimbledon champion and hear the applause,
commentary and the sounds of the game. Alternatively,
you can go interactive and share your sporting achievements
with friends - just send them an SMS and challenge them
to a virtual game.
With high-speed GPRS and WAP, but unfortunately not
Bluetooth, this tiny phone not only looks great, but
delivers wherever you are in the world.
